From the Director

We are open for Computer Access by Appointment

The library building reopened for computer access by appointment on July 13.  It has been wonderful to see some of you in person again. As of mid-July, roughly 50% of libraries in our state have reopened their doors for varying levels of service.  At Blackstone, we are continuing our contactless pickup service for physical items, expanded access to digital resources and a variety of programs online at no cost to residents through the Zoom platform. If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look at our youtube channel, accessible through our website.  Here you’ll find recordings of programs you may have missed, along with instructional videos from your library staff for many of the electronic resources we offer.

Our staff are in the building during regular hours to answer phones and email.  Library card registration is available online – we’ll mail a card to you so that you can take advantage of our free digital resources.  Books and other materials may be returned to our outside book drop.

We miss you and hope that we’ll be back soon.  In the meantime, we hope that you and yours stay healthy and safe.
