Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Need community service hours for school? Want to donate your time to a worthy cause? Like free food?

Are you a high school student? Blackstone’s TAG (Teen Advisory Group) is a club for high school students, where members work with the Teen Librarian to select new books, plan programs, play-test games & make the library a more awesome place. Join today to earn community service hours. And did we mention there’s free snacks? The club meets every other Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm. Email Emily (teens@blackstonelibrary.org) for more information.

Are you a middle school student? Our Junior Tween Advisory Council (JTAC) is a  club exclusively for middle school students, where members work with Emily on crafts, special projects, and other activities that help the library. To find out when we’re meeting, email us today: teens@blackstonelibrary.org.
