Annual Halloween Parade for Babies thru age 5

Drop-in event. Celebrate Halloween before the sun goes down with the Blackstone Library. During this story hour Miss Mary and Miss Carly will lead everyone through a series of songs, movement activities, good reads and hand rhymes. We will close the event by marching around the building to collect little takeaways, candy will not be included. Sign up is not necessary but costumes would be sensational!

Virtual Latin II (for grade 7-adult)

Every Monday

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Latin II is best suited for those who have completed a level I Latin course and are familiar with basic Latin vocabulary, the five declensions and six cases of nouns, regular and irregular verbs, and all six verb tenses in the active voice of the indicative mood. Participants will use the textbook Ecce Romani II. A complimentary copy of the text will be provided as long as the supply lasts. In addition to the lessons in the text, college and state Latin mottoes such as Lux et veritas and Qui transtulit sustinet will be featured on a regular basis. Ecce Romani is a reading-based program and this high school-based curriculum is presented in English with some conversational phrases in Latin.

Adult Coloring Group

Come relax and socialize with our adult coloring group! Coloring may seem childish, but many people find it’s a great way to keep the brain engaged and the body relaxed–plus it’s a great place to make new friends! All materials provided, just bring your creativity.
