For our special 125th Anniversary Take & Make we’re exploring a library detail that’s right under your nose…and your toes! Our rotunda is home to 12,500 square feet of hand laid mosaic tile flooring imported from Paris. Whoever laid the tile was truly a master craftsman, and now you can be too! Grab your kit, then watch the video on YouTube at your leisure to recreate our gorgeous mosaic floor at home!

All materials provided, limit one per family. Kits are first come, first served.

The program with no schedule: Welcome to TeensCraft! Each month, we’re putting together a different event kit, exclusively for teens. This month, we’re making… Chocolate Oreo Truffles!

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Learn to make soft, fudgy oreo truffles with this grab-and-go event. Just sign up (remember, space is limited!), then drop by the library on Wednesday, March 23rd to pick up your kit. Everything you need (including instructions) will be waiting in your bag; you can complete your project on your own time, whenever you’d like, so the only schedule you have to follow is your own!

A monthly project that explores Science Technology Engineering Arts & Math

If you love Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math, then boy do we have the program for you! Wear your wildest steampunk outfit & join us on your Early Release Days for a monthly event that explores different elements of STEAM education. Kits will be available to pick up in-person the week of each event. Complete your project on your own or join Miss Carly virtually at 3:30 PM to experiment together!

Space is limited & a waiting list will open when each event is full. Please be respectful of limited space & only sign up for events you can attend. Latin III  will begin with a review of chapters 28-40 of Ecce Romani II. At the completion of all 27 chapters of  the text, the group will move on to translating and discussing annotated passages from Ovid, et. al. A complimentary copy of Ecce Romani II will be provided as long as the supply lasts.
