We’re hosting a drive-up shredding event on Saturday, September 18 from 9 am – 12 pm. Clean out your old papers, protect your privacy and confidentiality — and support the library! First box is $7, each additional box is $5. Or, save $ when you buy a prepaid card $10, good for 2 copy-sized paper boxes’ worth of papers.

Join us for a meet and greet book signing with local Branford author Tony Renzoni! Tony is the author of three books on Connecticut history, and he’ll be sharing and signing his two most recent titles with us on Saturday 9/18.

Connecticut Softball Legend Joan Joyce profiles the multifaceted career of one of the country’s greatest athletes and was recently adapted for the stage and performed at the Legacy Theatre in Stony Creek.

Connecticut Bootlegger Queen Nellie Green recounts the life and times of Branford’s own Nellie Green, set against the historical backdrop of the Prohibition era, the women’s movement and the Roaring Twenties.
