Kate Galambos: Imagination Made Real Now On Display!

New artwork now on display! Kate Galambos is a contemporary American artist known for her exploration of color, line, and shape using acrylic mixed media.

This artist’s work will be on display in the upper rotunda gallery for March & April.

After retiring from her career as a registered nurse, she pursued oil, watercolor, and acrylic art, and fell in love with non-objective painting. Kate continues to explore this form today in various sizes, formats, and themes, with the goal to “make imagination real.” She takes influence from her Christian faith to communicate hope and joy through visual images.

Kate has studied with artists Marc Massaro, Maureen Wilkinson, Shilo Ratner, and Pamela Caughey. Her work has been exhibited at the Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT, and the Agency on Aging in North Haven, CT. Kate currently lives in Branford with her husband, David, and dog, Queen Jasmine of Texas. Kate enjoys choir singing and community activities in addition to time in her studio.
