When you make a gift to the library, you become our partner in providing your community with free classes, language learning, best-selling novels and biographies, children’s early literacy programs and kits, and so much more.

Solid Community Partnerships Help Strengthen Your Community

We’re thrilled to work with local organizations to develop strong programs and services for those who need them most. From a collaboration with the New Haven County Bar Association to provide “Ask A Lawyer” clinics in the library, to partnering with the Branford Early Childhood Collaborative and the Branford Exchange club to give out Baby Bundles filled with baby items and important information for new parents, our partnerships help meet a range of needs in your community.

Local businesses get involved with the Blackstone by providing sponsorships and volunteers for our fundraisers, and by offering excellent workshops that teach you about your world.

And, you. The contributions made by you, your friends, and neighbors have a direct and immediate impact, making all of the programs and services we provide possible. From the many children’s programs offered each week that teach early literacy concepts, to book clubs that foster interesting discussions and connections, to art and science lectures from experts, to hands-on experiences with tech for teens, to an excellent selection of materials to supplement these programs, your support of the Blackstone Library means all of that can continue… and grow.
