Organized in 1748, Trinity Episcopal Church’s first building was built in 1784, a simple white frame building behind the site of the current church. The present church was built in 1852 of ship’s siding lumber. In the gothic style, the church has a belfry and steeple and a bell that was cast by Jones & Company of Troy, N.Y.
