If you attend a program in the auditorium that uses the sound system, you now have the ability to use an assistive listening device. Ask at the Reference Desk when arriving for the program, and we’ll give you the device and show you how to use it.
Thanks to a generous gift from the Friends, made in memory of Betsy Klarman, the Blackstone Library was able to upgrade its sound system this past year. The upgraded system includes assistive listening capability. The devices amplify the sounds coming out of the sound system, with a small speaker at your ear. There are four devices available.
