Once a month, we’re using our Virtual Teen Space to meet for game night! We’ll explore the viral game sensation Among Us, Jackbox Games, and more! Space is limited for this event. Earn community service virtually! Whether you’ve volunteered for our in-person teen group in the past or you’re brand new to our community, join us in our virtual teen space (on discord) for a club where we review new books for the library to purchase & choose upcoming events. Best of all, meetings count as community service.

Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Open to mature teens in grades 6 through 12. Please note: registration is required to receive an invitation to join us on discord. Click here to register.

Gather your own ingredients and join Miss Sarah and our special guest baker in our virtual teen space (on discord) for a chance to cook and eat together. What will we make? Each session will be something new–it could be a dinner or a dessert. You don’t need any cooking or baking experience to join, just your parent’s permission and some creativity! Once a month, we’re putting together bags with a craft, just for you. Drop by the library, pick one up, take it & make it! Each month is a different activity. It could be a craft to keep, a challenge to participate in, or an edible activity you eat!

Kits are available while supplies last during no-contact pickup hours, 10am-12 pm, 2pm-8 pm. No registration is required. Kits are first come, first served. Want to receive a reminder to pick up a kit? Sign up for an email reminder here!

Let’s kick-off this year’s summer reading theme – Tails and Tales with a program that pays homage to our beloved pets! During this hour long meet and greet participants will be able to spotlight their dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, snakes or anything you call dear! It’s show-and-tell, but with pets. Whatever your pet is, we want to meet them and learn a little about the tender love and care you provide on the daily. Don’t have a pet of your own? That’s okay, join us for all the cuteness! This summer we are getting back to basics with a series of Take and Makes for all ages! The last Wednesday of every month the Blackstone Library will drop a different nature based creation through our new crafting resource known as CreativeBug. Those interested are welcome to pick-up a Take and Make bag filled with the necessary materials in our library vestibule. Then watch the videos we link through CreativeBug at your leisure to make something connected to nature.

Registration for this activity is not required but pick-up will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Kits will be clearly marked in the library’s vestibule and you will be required to wear a mask when you enter the building. No-contact pick up times are between 10AM-7PM.
