As the number of Branford residents testing positive for COVID-19 has increased, the library building will remain closed to the public through Sunday, December 20. Physical materials will be available by contactless pickup only.
The building will be staffed during regular hours and staff will answer phones and provide service remotely where possible. Pickup appointments are no longer required. If you choose to be notified by email, a notice will be sent when the item is available. If you do not have an email address, we will notify you by phone.
Once your item is ready, it will be placed on a cart in the vestibule at the rear of the building where you can pick it up Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 8 pm, or Friday/Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Items not picked up within 7 days will be returned to the shelf or loaning library.

- limit of 20 items per card at a time
- include your name and library card number
- list the titles you want and desired format (large print, audiobook, DVD, etc)
- include the author, if possible
