Wild for Wildlife: How to Help Animals in Distress (Grades 5-12)

Monday, November 9

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Monday, November 9 @ 5-6pm

What happens when adorable baby owls are orphaned? Who saves the day when wildlife is hit by a car, tangled in fishing line, or otherwise injured by humans? If you love animals or you’re considering a career in animal science, this event is for you! Learn what it takes to be an animal rehabilitator & meet both the temporary and permanent animal residents of the Connecticut Wildlife Center. Want to help? Learn what to do if you find injured wildlife in your own back yard & ask how YOU might volunteer in the future! Registration is required to receive a meeting link. Click here to sign up.

This event is made possible by the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation.
