Teen Summer Coffee & Book Chat

Thursday, August 6

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Teens: do you love to read but hate the pressure of a traditional book club?

This summer, we’re taking the pressure off & starting a new club where, hopefully, you’ll remember what matters most–how much you enjoy reading! Rather than discussing one title, we’re inviting you to a digital discussion where you choose which books we’ll talk about over a cup of coffee*.

Our theme for the summer is “Imagine Your Story.” So our question is… Which kind of story do YOU prefer? We want to know which books you love and which ones you loath. Just pick any story (try one from our High School Summer Picks 2020 List) & come ready to tell us why we should (or shouldn’t!) read it, too. Not only will you get a chance to discuss the books that speak to you, but you’ll also get book suggestions from other readers in the know. Open to middle, high school, and college-aged teens. Space is limited and registration is required to receive a meeting link.

*Bring your own coffee optional, some assembly required.

Ready to join us for a casual conversation, coffee, & spilling of book tea? There are two dates to choose from: Thursday, July 2nd or Thursday, August 6th. To join us for either discussion (or both!)  SIGN UP HERE. You will receive an invitation to join us for a Zoom meeting. Need a copy of one of our books? Free digital copies available now through Overdrive or Hoopla Digital! Need more help? Email Miss Sarah today.
