To help keep families safe, please remember that sign up and masks will be required to attend all in-person events @ Blackstone Youth Services. If you’re not able to join us for an in-person storytime, a virtual storytime is also available on Mondays. Space is limited & a waiting list will open when each event is full. Please be respectful of limited space & only sign up for events you can attend. If you are sick, please do not attend, just let Miss Carly know you’ll miss the event.

Take-Home Kit, Complete At Your Own Pace! Welcome to TeensCraft! Each month, we’re putting together a different craft kit, exclusively for teens. This month, we’re making… Cookie Cutter Bird Feeders! Which birds migrate and which stay in Connecticut all winter long? Sign up for this teen-only craft & find out! We’re making fun-shaped birdfeeders to decorate your yard & give your feathered friends a winter treat! This is a grab-and-go event. Just sign up (remember, space is limited!), then drop by the library to pick up your kit. Instructions will be included in your bag; you can complete your project on your own schedule, whenever you’d like, then email a picture to Miss Sarah (teens@blackstonelibrary.org).

Latin III  will begin with a review of chapters 28-40 of Ecce Romani II. At the completion of all 27 chapters of  the text, the group will move on to translating and discussing annotated passages from Ovid, et. al. A complimentary copy of Ecce Romani II will be provided as long as the supply lasts.

Join us for a weekly knitting group! Meetings are every Wednesday in the Blackstone Library Conference Room. Beginners and experienced knitters are welcome to drop in any time between 6:00 and 8:00pm.
