Don’t let social distancing prevent you from discussing a great book with your neighbors! Download Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad on Hoopla (free with your Blackstone Library card), then meet up with us via zoom for a live book discussion on June 19th.

This eye-opening book challenges you to do the essential work of unpacking your biases, and helps white people take action and dismantle the privilege within themselves so that you can stop (often unconsciously) inflicting damage on people of color, and in turn, help other white people do better, too.

ScienceTellers: A Virtual Space where Science and Stories Join Forces – For Families

Kick off summer reading with a fun fantasy filled adventure and you’ll discover just how ‘cool’ matter can be! It’s time to see what happens when dragons and an ice sorceress meet. Throughout the showing the ScienceTellers will answer questions, conduct polls/quizzes and even teach a science experiment you can do at home! This is truly an interactive experience.
